Most Robert S. Kerr Reservoir camps/ramps closed until at least May 1

The recreation areas along the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System are federal property that is maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers. The Tulsa District of the Army Corps of Engineers has delayed the official opening of its recreation areas until at least May 1.
For local people, this will affect patrons wanting to visit four campgrounds/ramps at Robert S. Kerr Reservoir — Applegate Cove, Short Mountain Cove, Cowlington Point and Damsite Day Use Area. With the exception of Damsite Day, these ramps are the only ones that accept reservations. Refunds will be issued by Recreation.gov for all reservations which were made for April.
The good news is that I found out on Wednesday that Applegate Cove Marina and boat ramp are open to the general public, but the others are still closed.
