Free throws down the stretch proved to be the difference for the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Golden Norsemen in their 68-60 win over the Carl Albert State College Vikings in Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference action Monday night at Mick Thompson Fieldhouse.
Despite playing good defense and holding the NEO Lady Golden Norse to 57 points, it wasn't enough for the Lady Vikings in their 57-42 loss in the first game Monday night.
The Carl Albert teams will return to action Thursday night against Seminole State College in Seminole. The women's game will tip off at 6 p.m., followed by the men's contest at 8 p.m.
