New PKMS girls basketball coach likes new job, teams

When Sheila Jones left Pansy Kidd Middle School's girls basketball teams to take the Cameron Lady Yellowjackets coaching job, it left a void with the Lady Raiders teams.
When Rachel Morgan heard about the opening and the quality of players, it was a chance she could not pass up.
“I heard that there was a lot of talent here,” Morgan said after Monday morning's practice at the PKMS Gym. “They're all extremely athletic. It was a good program that needed some work. So, I was really interested. I liked the location — I live in Whitesboro. I have a good group of girls to pick from. It's a great school to work for.”
