New Whitesboro girls hoop coach glad to be back coaching again

June 21, 2014

A couple of seasons ago, Josh Fields was coaching the Talihina girls softball team and was an assistant girls basketball coach. However, he had not gotten all the necessary certifications, so he had to go get them.
Now that he has, Fields is back in the coaching realm once more, and this time with a new team. Fields is the new Whitesboro Lady Bulldogs basketball coach, taking over for Bryan Cartwright who coached them the last two seasons.
“It feels great to be back coaching,” Fields said. “It made me realize how much I loved it after not coaching for a year.”
