No school means more hang time for area skaters

Area youth flocked to the Poteau skate park Monday while schools were closed in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

Todd Mattox, 9, of Poteau spent Monday afternoon at the Poteau Skate Park. Area schools were closed Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Day. With a free day from school, several children spent the day perfecting tricks on skateboards, skates and bicycles.
