After the Northern Oklahoma College-Enid Jets defended their home baseball field, David Allen Memorial Ballpark, in a doubleheader sweep of Carl Albert on Thursday, the Vikings hoped they could return the favor Sunday afternoon at Ival Goodman Field. It didn't happen.
The Jets came to town and swept the Vikings 5-1 and the nightcap 2-1 in eight innings.
The Vikings did not play Monday night at Eastern Oklahoma State College, and it's not known if that game will be rescheduled. Carl Albert will make up its road game against Connors State College at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Warner. It will be a single, nine-inning contest.
