Thanks to a four-point lead at halftime and clutch free-throw shooting down the stretch, the Northern Oklahoma College-Enid Jets pulled away from the Carl Albert State College Vikings for a 77-66 Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference win Thursday night at Mick Thompson Fieldhouse.
Behind 24 points each from Ashlyn Briegge and Marisha Wallace, the 10th-ranked NOC-Enid Lady Jets came away with the 72-54 OCAC win over the Carl Albert Lady Vikings in the first game of the night.
The Carl Albert teams will return to action Monday night as they travel to Altus to meet the Western Oklahoma State College Lady Pioneers and Pioneers. The women's game will be at 6 p.m., followed by the men's contest at 8 p.m.
