The LeFlore County Bass Club had its second open tournament Saturday at Potato Hills South on Sardis Lake.
There were 16 boats that caught 38 fish weighing a collective 131.86 pounds. The average weight of each fish was 3.47 pounds, with six limits caught.
The duo of Tim O'Daniel and Rodney Faulkenberry took home first-place honors with 22.19 pounds to earn $350.
Haskell and A.J. Higgins were second with 19.39 pounds — 8.33 of which was A.J.'s big bass winner. The duo earned $210 for the second-place finish, while A.J. got an additional $140 for the big bass winner.
Patrick and Cole Trowbridge were third (18.23 pounds, $140).
The club's next tournament will be April 28 at Applegate Cove Marina on Robert S. Kerr Reservoir.
Just a word to all members, you will be allowed to bring a trailer since some of the ramps are closed, but you will need to pay up front by April 27.
Save the world, recycle.
God bless our troops and veterans.
Have a great weekend.
