OKC Thunder have high expectations for this season

September 29, 2013

OKLAHOMA CITY — Last season looked promising for the Oklahoma City Thunder, but an injury to star point guard Russell Westbrook and an inspired Memphis Grizzlies team put a stop to dreams of a championship.
As the 2012-13 season ended, superstar Kevin Durant said that you “learn more from losing than you do from winning.” I believe that Durant is correct in that when you lose, you have to put things into perspective and take a good, hard look at yourself and what you’ve accomplished and where you failed. If the team can do that, the Thunder has a great chance at putting last year in the books and setting out on track for another championship run this season.
