Oktaha girls end season for Heavener Lady Wolves

October 6, 2013

OKTAHA — There was one team that kept the Heavener Lady Wolves softball team from making the Class 3A State Tournament — the Oktaha Lady Tigers.
The Lady Tigers blanked the Lady Wolves 10-0 in Friday afternoon's title game of the regional tournament after the Lady Wolves staved off elimination with an 11-9 come-from-behind win over the Stigler Lady Panthers.
The Lady Wolves lost the winner's-bracket final Thursday night 10-8 to the host Lady Tigers.
The Lady Wolves end the season at 30-11.
