Oran Lee Ross

Oran Lee Ross, 80, of Cameron died Wednesday,Sept. 14, 2011, in Cameron. Oran was born Sept. 5,1931, in Hackett, Ark., to Glenn and Grace Ray Ross.Oran was an engineer at Whirlpool where he retiredafter 37 years. He was on the Cameron City Council for50 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force andserved during the Korean War. He was preceded indeath by his parents; wife of 56 years, Earlene Ross andbrother, Gene Ross.Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Lea andJim Ridenour of Cameron; son, Byron Ross of Cameron;grandchildren and spouses: Ross Ridenour and CandaceLett and Bryan and Angila Montgomery of Cameron, Johnand Tabby Ridenour of Fayetteville, Ark., and SaraRidenour of Cameron; great-grandchildren, AidenHildebrant of Fayetteville, Ashley Montgomery, IsabelleRidenour and Kloe Montgomery of Cameron; other relativesand loved ones; many beloved friends.Services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 19, at EvansChapel of Memories, Poteau, with The Rev. Jim Cookofficiating.
