Otis Cleo Ritter, 70, of Cameron died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark. Cleo was born Nov. 4, 1941, at No. 10 / Howe to Will and Lula (Dodd) Ritter. He was a retired truck driver.Â Cleo was a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Poteau.Â He was an avid coon hunter, he loved animals, especially his horse, â€śZipper.â€ťÂ Cleo was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Short, Raymond, Frank, Bill and Willard Ritter; and three sisters, Savola Wise, Viola Ritter and an infant girl.Â
Survivors include his wife, Paula of the home; sisters, Marcella Waymire of Poteau, Faye Humphries of Monroe, Jean and Truman Hill of Howe; special pets, Patty and Penny of the home;Â sister-in-law, Regina and Donald Mings of Talihina; mother-in-law, Marie Ganote of Talihina; brother-in-law, Ted and Darlene Ganote of Tulsa; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and loved ones; many beloved friends.Â
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, with Rev. Jim Cook officiating.Â Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery, Howe. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Bradley Hill, Bentley Hill, Keith Mings, Greg Mings, Josh Thomas and Jake Thomas.Â
