Panama basketball teams get first wins of season

BRAGGS — The Panama High School basketball teams got their first wins of the season Monday in the opening round of the Greenleaf Invitational Tournament.
The Razorbacks defeated tournament-host Braggs 65-46, while the Lady ’Backs routed Kinta 54-19.
The Hogs (1-2) will play Gore, a 63-34 winner over Webbers Falls on Monday night, in the championship semifinals at 8:30 p.m. Friday, with the winner playing for the title at 8:45 p.m. Saturday. Friday night's loser will play for third place at 5:45 p.m. Saturday.
The Lady Razorbacks (1-2) will play Oaks, a 61-36 winner over Webbers Falls Tuesday night, at 7:10 p.m. Friday, with the winner advancing to the championship game at 7:15 p.m. Saturday. Friday night's loser will end up playing for third place at 4:20 p.m. Saturday.
