Panama football player named Newcomer of the Year in 2A-6; Several Razorbacks, Pocola Indians make All-District Team

December 26, 2012

The Panama Razorbacks, who two seasons ago went winless and endured a two-season long 17-game losing streak, made the Class 2A playoffs this past season. One of their players garnered a top individual award from District 2A-6.
Panama’s Andy Burris was named the Newcomer of the Year in District 2A-6. He wasn’t alone as far as being honored by the district as several Razorbacks and Pocola Indians were named to the team.
Panama’s Trevor Bourne, Jacob Vick, Ryan Shirey, Todd Cross and Gabe Harp were named to the team as were Pocola’s Dalton Richardson, Beau Kerbow, Scotty Jones, Preston Hobbs, Johnny Satterfield and Anthony Clopton.
