Panama loses home finale to Vian, but still makes playoffs thanks to Hartshorne win over Wilburton

November 4, 2012

PANAMA — The Panama Razorbacks football team wasn't quite in the playoffs with last week's home win over archrival Pocola. It took two Wilburton losses last week and Friday night to ensure a Hogs' trip to the postseason, since the Razorbacks lost their home finale 54-0 to No. 1 Vian on Friday night at George Ollie Stadium.
The Diggers lost last week to Hugo, then lost in their rivalry game with the Hartshorne Miners on Friday night to solidify Panama's trip to Okemah next week to begin the Class 2A playoffs.
