Panama, Pocola renew rivalry Friday night in Pocola

October 31, 2013

There may not be a bigger game than the one that will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday night at John Carter Field when the visiting Panama Razorbacks renew their rivalry with the homestanding Pocola Indians.
“It's a huge game,” Panama coach Brandon Ellis said. “It doesn't matter what the records are. You can throw all those out the window. We're going to get the best they will offer, and they'll get the best that we'll offer.”
If one goes into the Pocola field house at John Carter Field, on the wall is a clock that ticks down the days, hours, minutes and seconds until kickoff of the annual rivalry game. It's always reset at the end of the night after the previous Panama-Pocola game.
