Panama Police K9 found murdered

Panama Police Officer Andy Bevil's K9 partner Creed was found murdered when family returns home from church.

The Panama Police Department is investigating the murder of the police departments K9, Creed, who was Officer Andy Bevil's partner.
According to Bevil, on Aug. 5 he and his family returned from church and when he went to feed and water his partner he found him dead from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
The two-year-old German Shepard was purchased by the department in August 2011 and has been Bevil's partner ever since.
A memorial service for Creed is scheduled Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Panama First Baptist Church located at 107 Jones St.
The Fort Smith Honor Guard will be present for the ceremony.
