PANAMA — Carl Albert State College softball coach David Holt signed his second LeFlore County softball player in as many days when he signed Panama senior Stephanie Barcheers to a letter of intent Thursday morning in a signing ceremony inside the Panama Gym. Holt signed Poteau pitcher RaeLynn Caldwell less than 24 hours before on Wednesday afternoon.
“Stephanie is a very versatile player,” Holt said. “She's got a good glove and a good arm. She can play anywhere on the field. One of the good things I like about her is that I've had members of my current team come up and tell me what a good kid she is and what a good player she is — and not all of them are from Panama. I just think she'll be a great player for us.”
