Patsy Ann Cauthron Chatterton, beloved
wife and mother, was born April 20, 1937,
in Hodgens.
Patsy grew up in Fanshawe and attended
primary and secondary school there.
Following marriage, she volunteered in
many church organizations as well as in
Girl Scouts for many years. In her spare
time, she enjoyed gardening, reading, housekeeping,
pet care and conversing with neighbors and
friends.
After many courageous years with surgeries, debilitating
neuropathy, lupus, diabetes and numerous other problems,
she departed this life on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at
Memorial Hermann Hospital in The Woodlands, Texas.
Patsy is survived by husband James A. Chatterton; daughter,
Rebecca Musgrave; son, Michael Chatterton; three sisters,
Cathryn Lea Howard, Treca Mae Balentine, Verna Jean
Rowland and spouses; one brother, Ernie LeRoy Cauthron
and his wife; son-in-law, Daniel Musgrave; five grandchildren,
Dana, Barbara and husband Baron, Andrew and Jessica;
nine great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren as
well as many nieces, nephews and friends,
A celebration of Patsy’s life will be held at 10 a.m.
Friday, July 29, at Christ Church Baptist Fellowship,
12501 Champion Forest Drive, Houston, Texas 77066.
Donations may be made in Patsy’s memory to Gideons
Internationals or American Heart Association.
