Pearl Roberta Bost, 76, of Poteau died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, in Fort Smith, Ark. Pearl was born June 21, 1936, in Poteau to Walter N. and Cleo V. (Collins) Durant. She was a homemaker. She also worked at McDonald’s in Walmart. Pearl was a member of Double Branch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Bost; and three brothers, Johnny George, Carl Willis and Walter Noah Durant.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Marty Bixler, Terrie and David Robbins of Poteau; son, John Wayne Robertson of Poteau; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Taylor, Jessica Nix, Christopher Mathis, Shena Scrimsher, Kimberly White, Kevin Robertson, Amanda Robertson; 16 great grandchildren; three sisters and brother in law, Carolyn and Archie Baca of Poteau, Mildred Huddleston of Oklahoma City, Jean Bass of Poteau; two brothers, Paul Nichols and Charles Durant of Poteau; other relatives and loved ones.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, with the Rev. Charles Scott. Buriall will be in Vaughn Cemetery, Gilmore. Pallbearers will be Wayne Robertson, Kevin Robertson, Danny Stinson and Tim Stinson.
The family will visit with relatives and friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Evans and Miller Funeral Home.
