Pitcher throws perfect game

March 31, 2013

It makes no difference the level of baseball, a pitcher gets a thrill when throwing a perfect game. Just ask Spencer Wells.
Wells, who pitches for the Poteau Rebels OK Kids baseball team, did just that, throwing a perfect five-inning game as the Rebels defeated the Spiro Muddawgs 5-0 in the title game of the 2013 OK Kids Preseason Tournament on Thursday night at the Poteau Area Recreational Complex.
Wells faced the minimum 15 batters in five innings with 11 strikeouts.
