After a great rally one week ago tonight to win the Class 2A District Tournament title game over Sallisaw-Central on their home court, the Pocola Indians saw their season end with back-to-back losses in the regional tournament.
The Indians’ season came to an end with a 56-45 loss to the Stratford Bulldogs on Friday afternoon on Chris Gillespie Court at Ray Henson Gymnasium in Talihina.
The Indians’ first playoff loss took place Thursday night at the Panama High School gym, losing 68-57 to the Oktaha Tigers. The Indians end the season at 16-10.
