Pocola knows it will be challenged by Hartshorne tonight

The Pocola Indians football team snapped a three-game losing streak last week, beating the Wilburton Diggers 66-27 for its first District 2A-6 victory.
“I was so proud of our kids,” Pocola coach Rick Lang said about last week's victory. “We executed on a night when we needed a win. I challenged the kids. They came out and we had 483 yards of offense. They executed — and we got to play everybody. It was a great win for us.”
Now that the Indians (2-4, 1-2 in district play) saw the worst team in the district, they will see one of the best of the district tonight when they entertain the Hartshorne Miners (5-1, 3-0) at 7:30 p.m. at John Carter Field.
