SPIRO — Mother Nature didn't quite get all of the 2012 LeFlore County Baseball Tournament on Tuesday
While both games at Panama were rained out and the last game here between Pocola and Leflore was washed out due to Tuesday's rain, two games were played here before the showers arrived.
The Indians and the Savages staved off elimination as Pocola blanked Bokoshe 12-0 and Leflore run ruled Arkoma 11-1.
Wednesday saw five games played here, including all three games which were rained out Tuesday.
Pocola and Leflore played, followed by Howe and Panama with that winner meeting Heavener.
Then the night ended with both championship semifinals, Poteau vs. Wister and Cameron vs. Spiro.
Four games are slated here today and tonight, with the finale being the winner's-bracket final between the Poteau-Wister winner and the Cameron-Spiro winner at 6 p.m. tonight, with the victor playing for the championship at 7 p.m. Friday.
The Heavener—Howe-Panama winner will play the Poteau-Wister loser at noon, followed by the Pocola-Leflore winner meeting the Cameron-Spiro loser at 2 p.m. Those two winners will play at 4 p.m. for the right to get to Friday's loser's-bracket final at 5 p.m. Friday against the loser of tonight's 6 p.m. winner's-bracket final.
