Pocola nips Talihina in thrilling 2A-6 contest

POCOLA — The Pocola Indians showed grit, guts and determination Friday night beating their district rivals, the Talihina Golden Tigers, 34-33 in a District 2A-6 thriller on homecoming at John Carter Field.
The game winner came when Devon Johnson hit Colton Hamm for a 22-yard touchdown catch with eight seconds remaining left to play. Cody Young's conversion was good for the deciding point.

they got lucky! happens every once in a while; dont worry, though.. that'll be talihina's only loss this season.
