Poteau Bandit League teams go 3-1 with Muldrow; third-graders lose in OT

The Poteau Bandit Football League teams were 3-1 in their home games with Muldrow on Saturday at Costner Stadium.
The Poteau sixth-graders posted a 42-28 victory over the Bulldogs, the Poteau fifth-grade Bandit League team won its game 36-0 over Muldrow and the Poteau fourth-graders won 38-0.
The only setback came in the third-grade game as Muldrow edged Poteau 13-12 in overtime.
The Poteau teams will return to action this Saturday at Costner Stadium against county rival Spiro. Action will begin at 5 p.m., with the third-grade game first, followed by the fourth-grade contest, the fifth-grade game and the sixth-grade contest.
