The Poteau Pirates are a win away from successfully defending their LeFlore County Tournament title.
The Pirates got past the Spiro Bulldogs 4-1 Thursday at Town Creek Park.
The Pirates played for the title Friday night in Cameron against the winner of Friday's loser's-bracket final between Spiro and Pocola. Friday's games were to have been at host Heavener, but the Wolves' field was too wet.
If the Pirates lost, there will be a winner-take-all title game at 1 p.m. Saturday in Cameron.
