Poteau boys soccer team's strong second half lifts it to victory over Subiaco

March 7, 2012

SUBIACO, Ark. — The Subiaco Trojans, whose roster resembles that of an United Nations soccer team, jumped on the Poteau Pirates early as they had the wind at their back. They scored at the 18-minute mark of the first half and did not score again until seven minutes remaining in the game as the results of a penalty kick.
Poteau got a score from the foot of Grant Scowden. Then for the second game in a row, the Pirates had another player register a hat trick, Kendrick Hardaway, to rally the Pirates for a 4-2 victory.
