Poteau freshmen dominate McAlester as they keep their record unblemished

McALESTER — For the very first time playing under the name of Pirates, the Poteau freshmen football team proved right from the very start of the game they are worthy of all the pre-season hype as they jumped on McAlester very early and controlled the game. The Pirates won the game 27-8 in their season opener Thursday night at Hook Eales Stadium.
