September 22, 2012

MULDROW — Last week, the Poteau Pirates freshmen football team as well as the Pansy Kidd Middle School teams pulled off a sweep of Van Buren, Ark. They did it again Thursday night.
The freshmen more than doubled the Muldrow Bulldogs in winning 34-16.
The eighth-grade Raiders got their second straight win with a 28-8 victory, which came on the heels of the seventh-grade Raiders' 20-14 win.
All three teams return to action next Thursday at Sallisaw, with the seventh-grade game beginning at 5 p.m., followed by the eighth-grade game and the freshmen game.
