After losing their last two games to Panama and Red Oak, the Lady Pirates responded by run ruling the Lady Bulldogs 10-2 in five innings.
Spiro's dates for this week's Class 3A Regional Tournament have changed. The tournament will begin today. Spiro will play Beggs at 2 p.m. this afternoon after tournament-host Sequoyah-Tahlequah meets Adair at noon. The losers will play at 4 p.m., followed by the winners at 6 p.m. On Thursday, today's 4 p.m. winner will play tonight's 6 p.m. loser at noon, followed by that winner meeting tonight's 6 p.m. winner at 2 p.m. for the regional title — and trip to state. If a second title game is needed, it will follow at 4 p.m. Thursday.
