The week ended on a high note for the Poteau Lady Pirates softball team as the locals posted a pair of home run-rule wins over the Idabel Warriors 10-0 in four innings Friday morning after doing likewise to the Muldrow Lady Bulldogs 10-0 in four innings Thursday afternoon.
The Lady Pirates will play their “Pink Out” cancer awareness game at 5 p.m. Monday against Red Oak. It will also be Senior Night, honoring Poteau's six seniors, Standridge, Wilson, Vise, Holdsworth, Kingery and Kylie Brown (who is out with a season-ending ankle injury).
