On Tuesday, the Poteau Pirates were voted the top seed of next week's LeFlore County Baseball Tournament. Just more than 24 hours later, the Lady Pirates got the same honor at Wednesday's seeding meeting at Western Sizzlin.
The Lady Pirates were voted the top seed of the 2013 LeFlore County Slow-Pitch Softball Tournament, which will be April 8-11 at the Poteau Area Recreational Complex.
Pocola was voted the second seed, with Wister third and Heavener fourth.
Whitesboro is the fifth seed, followed by Panama, Cameron, Howe and Talihina.
There will only be nine teams in the tournament due to the other four teams — Arkoma, Bokoshe, Leflore and Spiro — not having enough players to field teams.
