PRYOR â€” Class 4Aâ€™s defending state girls golf champions, the Poteau Lady Pirates, took home all the top honors at Thursdayâ€™s Pryor Invitational.
The Lady Pirates not only won the team title with a 379, but Class 4A defending individual state champion Hannah Ward won the the top medalist honor with a 78.
In fact, two other Lady Pirates placed in the top 15. Cathleen Manlove was seventh with a 94, while Skylynn Terry was 11th with a 99.
Dallas Terry shot a 108, while Alyssa Vineyard carded a 110.
The Lady Pirates will return to action at 8:30 a.m. Monday in the Elgin Invitational, which will be played at Lake Hefner Golf Course in Oklahoma City.
