August 25, 2012

CLAREMORE — The Poteau Lady Pirates softball team likely had a fun bus trip back home Friday afternoon. The Lady Pirates, who played in the Rogers State Classic on Friday, ended the day by knocking off Class 6A's fourth-ranked Sand Springs Lady Sandites by a score of 2-0.
The win came after a tough 5-4 loss to Glenpool, which they defeated the week before at the Broken Arrow Tournament.
