Poteau golf girls, Lady Pirate win Pre-State Preview on Monday

OKLAHOMA CITY — It was a Poteau Lady Pirates golf sweep of the titles at the Class 4A Pre-State Preview, which took place Monday at Lake Hefner Golf Course.
The Lady Pirates won the team title with a 347, eight team shots better than second-place Cache (355).
University of Arkansas-Little Rock signee Hannah Ward won the event for the third straight year, shooting a 73.
Alyssa Vineyard was the 11th-place medalist with an 88, followed by Skylynn Terry (89) in 12th place. Dallas Terry shot a 97, while Shelli Cobb had a 106.
The Lady Pirates will begin postseason play at 9 a.m. next Tuesday in the Class 4A Regional Tournament at Wolf Ridge Country Club.
