Ryan Adams, 27, of Poteau, escaped serious injury Monday after a cliff-hanging blowout. Adams was headed north on the bypass near Polk Creek Road when a tire on the trailer he was towing deflated. The blowout caused the 2010 Chevy pickup to swerve to the right then roll over atop the guardrail, according to Poteau Police who investigated the accident. The trailer saved Adams pickup from going over the guardrail and rolling down a steep hill.
