Poteau, Panama girls make LCT winner's-bracket finals; Lady Pirate ace throws second perfect game of tournament, which will crown county champ Thursday night

PANAMA — The Poteau Lady Pirates and the Panama Lady Razorbacks are the two lone undefeated teams in the 2013 LeFlore County Fast-Pitch Softball Tournament. They will meet at 5 p.m. Thursday to decide which team will be the first to reach Thursday night's 7:30 p.m. title game.
The Lady Pirates blanked the Wister Lady Wildcats 2-0 in one of Tuesday night's winner's-bracket semifinals, while the Lady ’Backs shut out their archrivals, the Pocola Lady Indians, 6-0 in the other semifinal.
The Lady ’Cats will play the Heavener Lady Wolves in the loser's-bracket semifinal at 5 p.m. Thursday. The Lady Wolves were the lone team to survive consolation bracket action on Tuesday, beating Arkoma 7-3, Cameron 10-1 and Pocola 3-2.
In other loser's-bracket action, Cameron got past Whitesboro 4-1, Howe beat Talihina 6-4 before losing 7-6 to Spiro — which handled Bokoshe 18-1. Wister defeated Spiro 6-3 after losing to Poteau.
The Wister-Heavener winner will meet the Poteau-Panama loser at 6:15 p.m. Thursday in the loser's-bracket final with the loser finishing third. The winner will meet the Poteau-Panama victor for the championship. The if-game is slated for 8:45 p.m. Thursday.
