The Poteau Lady Pirates just completed playing in the Class 4A State Tournament. Now, it's the boys' turn.
The Poteau Pirates will play in the Class 4A State Tournament on Monday and Tuesday at Lake Hefner South Golf Course in Oklahoma City. The Pirates will play two rounds on Monday for a total of 36 holes, then play the final 18 holes on Tuesday.
However, the Pirates won't be the only area boys hitting the state-tournament links next week.
Cameron's Kody Whitehead will do likewise in the Class 2A State Tournament, which will be Monday and Tuesday at Emerald Falls Golf Course in Broken Arrow. Just like the Pirates, Whitehead will play 36 holes for the first two rounds on Monday, followed by the final 18 holes on Tuesday.
