Poteau Pirates to have spring football game Friday night

May 29, 2014

For the first time since the Class 4A state title game, the Poteau Pirates will hit the football field for Friday night's spring game, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Costner Stadium. Admission is body wash and towels.
Friday night's spring game will conclude the two-week spring drills season, which began May 19.
“We've had a weird two weeks,” Poteau coach Greg Werner said. “There's been a lot going on as well as the weather, but we've had a good two weeks. I think the kids will be excited to get on the field and play a little bit.”
