Poteau senior track boys want shot at state title; Pirates, Lady Pirates will try to qualify for state in Class 4A Regional Meet today in Oologah

For most of the Poteau Pirates track team's seniors, they want to end their high school careers with a trip to next weekend's Class 4A State Meet at Moore's Lions Stadium.
For all LeFlore County track athletes competing in today's regional meets, the top three individuals and relay teams, including ties, in all regionals will automatically qualify for next week's state meet. Then, the fourth-, fifth-, sixth- and seventh-place individuals and relays from all the regional meets in each class will be put together, with the top four including ties overall earning at-large bids to state.
