Poteau soccer girls will never forget Paige, No. 8; Lady Pirate program heading in right direction, due in part to 2014 senior quartet

For auto racing fans, the No. 3 will always have meaning as it represents the late Dale Earnhart, who was killed in the 2001 Daytona 500. The No. 8 will have the same meaning for the Poteau Lady Pirates soccer program, especially for this season's four senior players.
Poteau seniors Kayla Alexander, Haley Clark, Kaeli Lovell and Morgan Giles would have been joined by a fifth senior — No. 8 Paige Underwood, who was killed in a single-car accident near Calhoun as she was coming to school on the next-to-the-last day of her sophomore year in May 2012.
