The Poteau Lady Pirates celebrated Senior Night on Tuesday at Sherman Floyd Fieldhouse, and sent their three seniors — Shelby Standridge, Brenna Vise and Colleen Peterson — out in style. For the third time this season, the Lady Pirates dominated the Heavener Lady Wolves in posting a 65-49 victory.
However, the visiting Wolves spoiled Senior Night for the Pirates, who beat them 44-43 on a last-second, coast-to-coast drive for a layup by Jarrett Lowrimore on Jan. 11 in Heavener. The Wolves avenged that loss with a 59-46 win over the Pirates.
