Poteau teams split road games against Spiro

SPIRO — The Poteau Lady Pirates rebounded from Friday night’s tough home loss to the Roland Lady Rangers by posting a 41-33 road victory over the Spiro Lady Bulldogs on Tuesday night at the Spiro High School Multi-Purpose Center.
In a rematch of the last two LeFlore County Tournament boys title games, the host Bulldogs withstood a late charge by the Poteau Pirates to earn a 57-47 victory.
