Yet again, a Poteau softball player will stay at home to play her college ball. Third baseman/pitcher Brenna Vise signed a letter of intent to play for Carl Albert State College in a ceremony Friday afternoon at the high school.
Vise, who is one of two Poteau players to make the Middle East All-State softball team, joining Shelby Standridge in that honor, said getting to stay here as well as playing with former teammates made CASC the choice.
“It's close to home,” Vise said. “It's good to know that I know somebody already there, and it's cool that I'm going to get to play with them again. I'm excited about that.”
