Poteau track girls win own meet Friday afternoon

The Poteau Lady Pirates track team won its third meet of the season in the state of Oklahoma — its own.
The Lady Pirates won the Poteau Invitational on Friday afternoon at Costner Stadium with 154 points. Broken Bow was second (122 points), followed by Idabel (94), Quinton (65.67), Howe (57.33), Heavener (53), Haworth (33) and Spiro (28).
The Idabel boys won the team title with 161 points, with Sallisaw second (106 points), followed by Quinton (79), Broken Bow and Haworth (76), Poteau (48), Spiro (41), Roland (35), Heavener (18) and Howe (four).
