Poteau wrestlers dominate dual against Van Buren

VAN BUREN, Ark. — The Poteau Pirates wrestling team continued its strong performance in the early going this season as it dominated the Van Buren Pointers by a score of 66-13 in Thursday night's dual.
The Pirates will return to the mat at 7 p.m. Tuesday on the road to meet Fort Gibson in the first of their three Class 4A District Duals. The team with the best district duals record between Poteau, Fort Gibson, Wagoner and Sallisaw will represent the district at the Class 4A Dual State Tournament in February.
