TULSA — Six members of the Poteau Youth Wrestling Club competed at the Blue T Tournament last weekend.
Luke Brooks came home with a first-place trophy, while Landon Thornburg and Sam Shore were runners-up.
Zane Hendrix was third, while Jarrett Lilley was fourth. Rae Hendrix competed, but did not place.
The Poteau Youth Wrestling Club will have its own tournament Nov. 12 at Sherman Floyd Fieldhouse. There will be a silent auction with the proceeds from the tournament to help raise money for a set of scales, singlets and anything else the kids may need throughout the season. What is left over will go toward next year's tournament. The public is encouraged to attend.
