Poteau Wrestling Club member wins two trophies at Morrison Tournament; Poteau Wrestling Club having its own tournament on Saturday

MORRISON — Saturday was a twice-as-nice day for Poteau Youth Wrestling Club member Luke Brooks.
Brooks was champion at the heavyweight class and runner-up at the Division I 66-pound class.
Three other members, Kadin Repass, Landon Thornburg and Colby Thornburg also participated but did not place.
The Poteau Youth Wrestling Club will have its own tournament Saturday at Sherman Floyd Fieldhouse.
There will be a silent auction with the proceeds from the tournament to help raise money for a set of scales, singlets and anything else the kids may need throughout the season. What is left over will go toward next year's tournament. The public is encouraged to attend.
