The Poteau Youth Wrestling Club had three sites of representation last weekend.
At the Fort Gibson Novice Tournament, the Club placed 20 of its 24 wrestlers who competed. Nine of those wrestlers won titles. In Division I, Gavin Morgan and Mason Francis brought home the gold.
In Division II, Caden Warren won a championship, while Justin Neff and Seth Ford did so in Division III.
Rae Hendrix was a tournament champion in Division IV, while Brandon Hartley and Parker Rosenburg did likewise in Division V.
Four wrestlers were tournament runners-up — David Stoughton (Division I), James Moss (Division II), Grant Ford (Division II) and Creed Smith (Division III).
Calloway Warren (Division I), Zack Dotson (Division II), Ethan Carey (Division III) and Parker Killion (Division III) were third, while Dakota James (Division IV), Riley Rosenburg (Division III) and Allison Hartley (Division IV) were fourth.
Remington Reed, Jackson Morris, Alex Ellis and Blaze Emerson competed but did not medal.
Club member Luke Brooks took first place at the Ted Anderson Classic in Edmond, while Ross Johnson and Kadin Repass competed at the Sperry Open Tournament but did not medal.
